I don't have any emails & stuff, though,
so I ain't inviting anyone...

And the only problem is, if someone were to get banned, chances are they would just run over to the spawn.com board and tell all.

ANd if that happened, I think some of us would chip in to pay for the lockdown on the board so people can only come in if given access.

well, apparently we've already got one disgruntled member....EQ said he's leaving cuz of something ghostdawgg said? Maybe that's a sign that it's time to stop inviting people unless only the mods specifically say it's o.k.

honestly, I've starting to get the feeling that some people are adopting an attitude of "well, I'm going to invite MY friends even if no one else wants them here, cuz they're MY buddies and that's what everyone else is doing." I think this could potentionally lead to trouble if it's true. sure, lock down would be a legitimate solution, but does anyone REALLY want to have to do that? Is anyone going to feel good about "voting people off?" I don't think I would [img]eek.gif[/img]

Pappy had the suggestion to make a sticky thread at the top for nominations. And if anyone has anyone they think should be on this board, they write it in there, and the rest of us can vote on it.
I don't know if you can really limit the number of people that show up, but if we at least invited people that everyone agreed on, maybe it wouldn't be so heated sometimes.

well, most people had been voting or at least mentioning it on the board before inviting people...but it seems like that's not happeneing as much now. I think it's a good suggestion, though - the sticky for voting. The only drawback is that I'm sure some people are going to get "hurt feelings" if their suggestion is shot down [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img]
